Festive season makes a wardrobe feel full and empty at the same time. You have the outfits, the invitations and the plans. Then comes the question every year: what do I wear with it?

At Style of Meraki, we believe jewellery should feel like you, not like a checklist. Handcrafted silver, natural gemstones and pearls give you plenty of room to play. Here is how to use them.
Start with the outfit, then choose one hero piece
The most common festive mistake is wearing everything at once. Choose one piece to lead and let the rest support it.
Pearls are not just for weddings
Pearls have a formal reputation, but they work with both traditional and western outfits. A freshwater pearl bracelet suits a silk saree as easily as a simple kurta set.
For something more playful, try pearls mixed with gemstone chips such as turquoise, aquamarine or amethyst. The pearl keeps the look polished and the stone adds colour. Browse the pearl collection for necklaces, earrings and bracelets.

The best festive jewellery is the piece that makes you feel like yourself, only a little more celebrated.
Let gemstones match your mood
Many people also choose a stone for its symbolic meaning. Different cultures associate gemstones with calm, love or protection, and wearing a stone that matters to you is a lovely, personal choice. Our healing stones collection is a good place to start.
Mix metals with a plan
Silver is the foundation of our collection (here is why silver is the luxury trend of 2026), with gold-tone and rose gold-tone finishes in selected pieces. If you want to mix them:
- Keep one metal dominant and use the other as an accent.
- Repeat a tone elsewhere in your look, such as a bindi, a clutch or an embroidered border.
- Let a gemstone bridge the two. Pearl and mother of pearl sit comfortably with both.
Layer without the clutter
- Choose necklaces of different lengths, such as a short pendant with a longer lariat. For more ideas, see our layered and multi-strand necklaces.
- Keep one textured piece and make the rest sleek.
- Avoid stacking necklaces that compete. A necklace set is designed to work as one, so it is a safe choice.
On the wrist: a two-line bracelet with a single ring is often more striking than five bracelets together. Browse our bracelets to build your stack.
Earrings and rings do the quiet work
If your neckline is high or busy, put the emphasis on your ears. Enamelled drops and chain earrings frame the face well. If your hands will be in photos, a statement ring in rose quartz or green enamel catches the light during aarti, greetings and family pictures.
Gifting from the heart
Cannot find exactly what you imagine? We also make custom pieces. Tell us the colour, stone or design in your mind and we will work it out with you. Read how we do it in Inside Our Custom Jewellery Process, or why custom jewellery is the ultimate form of self-expression.
That is the idea behind the word Meraki: doing something with soul, creativity and love.
